MultiFold door, 5.5meters wide, order produced and supplied ready for installation - CWG Choices MultiFold
The challenge was straight forward enough, simply a seven leaf MultiFold door with astragal bars! The immediate thoughts that come to mind are size - a mere 5.5 metres(!)... weight - it took six men to lift it... transport. Coupled with all this, no room for error on lining through the astragal bars! As ever, a challenge is a challenge and so by definition, has to be met. All went to plan and there is a very happy customer with a very wide door, through which they will be able to admire and have access to their garden.
The astragal bar feature continues to be popular. From CWG Choices it is available to suit the wide range of products on offer. That is to say, Rehau 70, Tritec, Shield and Kömmerling Connoisseur. It is only supplied with a sculptured bar/bead on the inside and bevelled on the outside except for the Kömmerling Connoisseur which is sculptured inside and outside. Due to their complexity, astragal grids are always supplied factory glazed, which gives peace of mind to all concerned.
