Imagine this scenario, a customer's order specified high security windows with slim authentic run through horn openers, in the CWG Choices Tritec system. Easy! However, some windows needed to be fire escape, Easy! Simply manufacture 'run through horn top over tilt and turn'. This gives casement ventilation at the top and the bottom can tilt for more ventilation, or turn for fire escape.

However, some sizes rendered the tilt and turn part to be outside of manufacturing tolerances. Not so easy!

Solutions considered by CWG Choices were to either raise the transom so no longer 50/50 or, much better, make a complete tilt and turn sash with a welded transom and fit a Dummy Sash with 'run through horns' incorporated into the top section. Thus giving maximum escape and maximum cleaning facilities.

CWG Choices range of tilt and turn windows can be tilted inwards at either the horizontal or vertical axis. Strengthened hinges on the base and side with internal glazing as standard, makes for extra security.
